I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of New Jersey and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in Education in Communication Disorders at Eastern Kentucky University.
I specialize in orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs), feeding disorders, and speech sound disorders. I have completed many hours of continuing education training including The Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, AEIOU (An Integrated Approach to Feeding), The Myo Method, and Simon Says Program (Tiny Tongue Tips). I am PROMPT trained as well as trained in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), or Gestalt Language Processing.
I have over 10 years of experience providing speech therapy in early intervention with the birth to three population, outpatient pediatric hospitals, schools, and private practice. I have extensive experience treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech sound disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

My intention is to provide goal focused, holistic, evidence-based therapy for all children. I encourage parents and other family members to be a partner in the child's therapy journey. I want to make you feel confident in the process by giving you the tools you need to support your child's communication and feeding skills outside of the therapy session. The more support a child receives outside of the therapy session, the better the outcomes!

My eldest has ADHD and my youngest has delayed speech. From the very beginning we have seen the wonderful improvements they both have made under the guidance of Ms. Wise. With the virtual/remote learning happening now I have personally witnessed how patient and encouraging she is to my kids especially my eldest. They have both become more confident in expressing themselves (became a chatterbox.. LOL) and not afraid to be different or make mistakes. As a parent I truly appreciate the professionalism and how she has integrated the new teaching and theories in her time with my kids.
